Human Resources Generalist
HR Contract Position – PART OR FULL-TIME HOURS, FLEX HOURS, AND REMOTE AVAILABILITY 1 DAY/WEEK
Stay abreast of current and changing laws and regulations related to Human Resources.
Manage company policies and processes related to benefits, payroll, compensation, performance.
Strive to create the best possible work environment for all employees by designing policies, procedures, and benefit programs consistent with employee and company goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Stay abreast of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
Work with Hiring Manager to recruit, interview and select candidates to fill vacant positions.
Manage HRIS System including reports, payroll and HR Files.
Coordinate management training to keep managers up to date on HR issues.
Manage employee succession and training opportunities including special HVAC educational program.
Manage Employee Handbook compliance.
Manage performance review process to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
Manage benefits programs including health, dental, life, FSP, EAP, disability insurance, 401(k), PTO, leave of absence, and FMLA.
Stay abreast of Self-Insured compliance and cost containment initiatives.
Manage ?First Report of Injury? reports for insurance carrier and post OSHA reports.
Manage Wellness Program including annual Biometrics, seminars and other wellness initiatives.
Analyze wage surveys to determine wages.
Other duties as required, assigned, or necessary.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and five to ten years related experience; or
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four year business degree and PHR Certification preferred
