We are looking for a Payer Sales Executive (Senior Manager) to join our Payer team within our Sales division.
Your job will be to sell Athena health data exchange, clinical, and revenue cycle solutions to US Payers directly and physician organizations that are sponsored by U.S. Payers. But enough about us; let’s talk about you.
You are a team player who works well through change and doesn’t view any challenge as too big to tackle.
You are staying up to date on trends happening within the industry, and continuously learning so that you are best prepared to speak with prospects.
When working with prospects you are able to persist and hold firm without too much pushing or compromising.
You are able to work within a fast-paced environment, and are not afraid to speak up when resources are needed. You are action-oriented and driven to succeed.
Meet/exceed the assigned sales targets
Manage assigned territory independently, develop a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities and engage in a consultative sales process to win new business
Develop lead generation process within the territory through the use of existing tools and resources (i.e our internal prospecting staff, marketing department programs, and historical relationships)
Create individualized lead generation methods and use personal industry connections.
This is a ?hunter? role; the goal is to obtain audiences/appointments with executives and physicians within the target market
Accountable for management of the full sales pursuit including corporate presentations, staffing analysis and data gathering meetings, demonstrations, ROI presentations, and comprehensive proposal delivery based on assessed business needs.
Effectively negotiate all deals and transition new accounts to Professional Services and Client Success teams post-sale.
Bachelor’s Degree required; 5+ years selling directly to payers
Solid mastery of the unit economics of payers and payer products (e.g. Medicare Advantage) and ROI delivery
Expertise in territory management and organization
Experience in positions requiring the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to significant matters

Our Location: This role will be based remotely or in one of our offices. Our Global Headquarters is located in Watertown, MA, just a few miles from Boston. We have three other US locations in Atlanta, Austin, and Belfast, ME.
