Our rapidly growing Vancouver client with offices in Europe and Silicon Valley are looking for Full stack Developers to join their team. Are you an artisan of design, a magician of user experience? As a UX/Interaction Designer, you’ll delight users with the design that inspires, engages, and excites them. You will be researching and benchmarking, easy to use and engaging UIs, creating consistent wireframes and prototypes to communicate ideas and concepts. You will collaborate with stakeholders, service designers, visual designers, content strategist and engineers in defining not only information and UI architectures, but also future successful business and services. You apply a holistic approach in understanding design strategies, translate them into design solutions, and ensure consistent quality up to the finest details of the design. You actively participate in design workshops, brainstorming sessions and communicate your ideas and design solutions through detailed design documentation.
You understand the importance of seeing the big picture, being able to make decisions without wobbling on the details and having the stamina to work on long-term projects. Lead client engagement with support from the design leaders
Engage in internal dialogue around the service design practice area
Experience creative design research methodologies, qualitative and quantitative
Conduct client workshops
Communicate your designs and present them to clients
Client facing / Consultant work
Build a strong and great mindset of customer-centric design to organizations
Understand the importance of seeing the big picture and minimalist design
Find metrics to follow to guarantee the best service performance
Analyse and respond to client briefs in a timely manner
Effectively prioritize and deliver to deadlines
UX/Interaction DesignerMandatory Skills
Education in graphical and interaction design
Great Industry experience and strong work samples
Eager to embrace new technologies and new design methodologies
Excellent workshop planning, presentation and facilitation skills
Great personal time management
Experience of iterative/lo-fidelity prototyping
Experienced with innovative research methodologies and approaches towards design challenges and research
Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch.
Experience in A/B testing.
It is a bonus if you have knowledge of HTML/CSS and Google design sprints
